Welcome to the wonderful world of soft-core erotica! Before you travel any further down this disgusting dirty path I must lay down a word of warning. If a discussion that pertains to hot chicks in schoolgirl outfits being spanked on their bare bottoms offends you, then all I have to say is... what the hell is wrong with you? Get the heck outta here quick ya dummy! All other interested parties may now read on... and enjoy.

There really is no doubt that Alternative Cinema is at the head of the pack when it comes to direct to video soft-core lensed features. With titles like Lord of the G Strings and Playmate of the Apes you pretty much know what you're setting yourself up for before you've even made your purchase. Don't go in expecting a nightcap to the Orson Welles retrospective you've just returned from, you won't find it here. What you will find however is a form of lowbrow soft-core entertainment that serves its niche market and serves it quite well at that. These films are often themed (or as I like to say, disguised) as spoof flicks (Erotic Survivor anyone?) or in the case of Satan's School for Lust a horror flick. If these films have only one thing in common (in reality they have many things in common) it would have to be the obvious... sexy dames and plenty of them. it's also worth noting that a lovely EI Cinema fan favorite stops by this time as well as Misty Mundae makes a most welcomed appearance.

Ok, now on to the story. Yes, there is a story folks... kind of but I don't really know how important all of this is to you. Things get started as a young lady (let's call her schoolgirl #1) and her best man are going at it hot and heavy in the dorm. Clothes are shed, there's a lot of rolling around and touchy feely until a masked assailant strangles this guy right in font of a distraught and half naked schoolgirl #1. We are now introduced to another young lady played by Misty Mundae (school girl #2). Schoolgirl #2 is sent off to the Diablo School for Girl's (get it?) A supposedly long time respected establishment around the area, so don't fuck with them! Schoolgirl #2 (Misty) is introduced to the domineering Head Mistress of Diablo and the Goth Chick (schoolgirl #3) that she not only has to share a room with, but the bed as well (ohhh la la!). In the mean time, a busty female reporter is preparing an article on some recent (and unexplained) disappearances around the Diablo school area. Despite the fact that she's warned of the danger, she heads over to the Diablo school anyway to do some snooping. Well, snooping soon leads to her being stripped naked, tied up and ravished by the domineering Head Mistress.

Moving along... after an extremely impressive bump and grind session between the Goth Chick and the Head Mistress it's noted that there is some sort of ceremony to take place that should bring forth the Lord of Darkness (or in the case here another sexily scantily clad chick played by Darian Caine). Oh, and did I mention the dream sequence earlier on in which Misty Mundae is stripped, violated and masturbated (against her will) with what appears to be a wooden cross? Good times!

If you've made it this far then I'm assuming that you're here for the same reason I am and that's a pretty good thing. As usual all of the gals parading around these parts here display a certain level of hotness and a respectable lack of clothing. Misty Mundae is pretty damn gorgeous plain and simple (like I even needed to tell you that), so I'm always glad to watch just about anything she's in. As an actual film itself, well the dialogue and set ups serve their purpose, which is to lead us from one sweaty lesbian scene to the next. At just under 70 minutes or so the film is fairly short so it never overstays its welcome.

Quality wise, we're dealing with a quick and cheapo erotic flick so there's really not much to say. There are some pretty nifty lighting techniques used to heighten the atmospheric tension and for what it's worth the film retains a fairly creepy ambiance. Audio is a mixed bag as some scenes that feature two people having a converstaion were obviously shot on two different days and then inter cut with one another. It's you're basic two shot set up, as it cuts from line to reaction shot and line, back to line again. What we also wind up with are different ambient sounds as we cut back and forth and it makes the audio cuts sound a bit jerky and a little unprofessional at that. I would have liked to have seen this cleaned up a bit. Just for the record the scenes where our hottie actresses are definitely in the same room together (you know the scenes I'm talking about!) aren't affected by this at all. Yeah, the flick is definitely cheap looking, but it's also definitely a lot of fun.

Extras are most impressive and at the same time, quite enjoyable. There are 2 deleted scenes and a nifty behind the scenes segment in which the lovely gals from the film parade around naked some more and goof off between takes, it's just about 15 minutes long and definitely worth checking out, especially for fans of all the actresses involved. Next up is the Alternative Cinema trailer vault that's featured on most of their releases. No less than 21 trailers are present that fall into the Shock-O-Rama, Retro-Seduction-Cinema and Seduction Cinema Spoof home video labels. There's also a nifty fold out booklet with plenty of photos included as well. The final extra is actually another feature film entitled Blood for the Muse, which is director Terry M West's first feature film. The film (obviously shot on video) is B&W and presented in a faux 2.35:1 scope aspect ratio to give it a more "cinematic" look and it runs just about 70 minutes. While our purpose for watching the feature is pretty clear (exploitation for the sake of exploitation), Blood for the Muse opts to take the route of a real film and it's not half bad at that. Not that I'm trying to put down Satan's School For Lust by saying it's not a real film, it's just that the exploitation elements obviusly drive the film which isn't necessarily the case in Blood for the Muse. Performances are fairly solid and there's a fair share of eroticism and blood present to boot. For a DVD extra, it's more than welcomed and definitely worth a look.

Fans of Misty Mundae and Darian Caine will find much to enjoy within this DVD presentation. The chicks are hot, scenes are steamy, and I dug the whole retro horror flick vibe (they tried). The extras are cool and a blast to sift through (the bonus film is also worth a look as well) and the price is certainly right (most places let this title go for under 15 bucks). If you're in the right frame of mind and are prepared for the hand you're being dealt, then it's certainly a packed and fun disc to go through.
